Responsibilities
Serve as the web application developer on a project to rewrite the user interface of the NC ECHO application for the Department of Public Health.
Rewrite the Angular JS and Breeze user interface using .NET.
Maintain the existing application function that collects data from various systems.
Qualifications
3+ years developer experience with Angular JS, Breeze, C#, Microsoft IIS, .NET, and SQL Server.
3+ years experience using an Agile or Scrum SDLC in a developer role.
3+ years knowledge of general IT architectural principles, technical designs, and specifications.
3+ years experience using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
3+ years experience using GitHub or Bitbucket.
3+ years experience using Jira.
3+ years ability to understand business requirements and translate them into specific software requirements.
3+ years excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact and communicate effectively with non-technical clients.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution.
Alternative education and experience combinations:
Associate degree in Computer Science or an IT related field + 3 years of application development experience.
High School or GED diploma + 6 years of application development experience showing increasing responsibility.
