Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Associate Engineer Systems or Engineer Systems. The selected candidate will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in Melbourne, Florida, and become part of Northrop Grumman’s Systems Engineering directorate. Duties

The selected candidate will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Other duties include: Perform analyses at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Basic Qualifications – Associate Engineer Systems (T01)

Ability to learn and carry through with HIVE architecture to support occasional HIVE lab set up, including laying out a HIVE lab to a given room dimension, identifying hardware/software, installation, and calibration, and supporting internal and/or external customer tours.

MUST BE WILLING TO WEAR MOTION CAPTURE SUIT . Completing or has completed a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) degree. Ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Top Secret clearance and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time. Basic Qualifications – Engineer Systems (T02)

Ability to learn and carry through with HIVE architecture to support occasional HIVE lab set up, including laying out a HIVE lab to a given room dimension, identifying hardware/software, installation, and calibration, and supporting internal and/or external customer tours.

MUST BE WILLING TO WEAR MOTION CAPTURE SUIT . Completing or has completed a Master’s degree from an accredited institution, or completing a Bachelor’s degree and having 2 years of electrical engineering experience. Majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) degree. Ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time. Preferred Qualifications (Both Levels)

Overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher. Previous internship/co‑op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional, community, extracurricular). Pay Range
