Responsibilities
Lead daily SMT operations
including setup, operation, and maintenance of SMT machines (pick-and-place, stencil printer, reflow oven, AOI).
Train, guide, and support
SMT operators to ensure consistent performance and adherence to quality standards.
Monitor line performance , identify bottlenecks, and coordinate with engineering and production teams to improve throughput and minimize downtime.
Inspect and verify
PCB assemblies for proper component placement, solder quality, and overall workmanship per IPC standards.
Schedule and prioritize
daily production runs to meet deadlines and customer delivery requirements.
Perform first article inspections
and coordinate with Quality Control to resolve non-conformances.
Maintain documentation
for production logs, maintenance reports, and process control records.
Ensure ESD, safety, and cleanliness standards
are upheld throughout the SMT area.
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years
of experience operating SMT equipment (Fuji, Yamaha, Juki, Panasonic, or similar).
1+ year
in a lead, supervisor, or senior operator role.
Strong understanding of
SMT processes ,
reflow profiling , and
component handling .
Ability to
read and interpret
assembly drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions.
Familiar with
IPC-A-610
and
J-STD-001
quality standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Basic computer skills for production reporting and data entry.
