Purpose of Position The Pilot is responsible for providing a superior air transportation experience with a continued safety record second to none on each flight. The Pilot is the face of NetJets, delivering technically accurate and safe transportation while offering exceptional service for every NetJets Owner and passenger. The role requires a concierge service level experience, ranging from professional aviator to in‑flight service provider. The Pilot must maintain full command of the aircraft at all times and keep a professional demeanor.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Safe operation of the aircraft from taxi to landing per FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and SOPs.
Greeting Owners/passengers pre‑flight, providing introductions, flight/trip briefings, itinerary verification, weather updates, and safety briefings.
Delivering in‑flight service including handling of alcohol and catering service.
Loading and properly stowing all baggage on the aircraft.
Handling flights for Owners with pets and who smoke.
Acting as the final authority on aircraft operation and compliance with safety and regulatory guidance.
Serving as liaison for Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO until safe landing and departure from the final FBO.
Communicating maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Company via the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and completing required paperwork.
Performing other duties as assigned per assignment.

FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R‑ATP) with multi‑engine rating.
At least 21 years of age.
1,500 hours total flight time experience OR 1,250 hours with R‑ATP certificate, OR 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification, OR 1,000 hours with R‑ATP certificate.
200 hours cross‑country (>50 nm) flight time.
250 hours fixed‑wing PIC.
100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night take‑offs and landings.
75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated, excluding simulator time).
ATP written completed prior to start of indoctrination training.
50 hours fixed‑wing, multi‑engine time.
Current FAA First‑Class Medical certificate.
FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
Valid passport.
Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
Ability to work varying hours including day and night, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Extreme flexibility and rapid adjustment capability.
Ability to manage rest to be prepared for flight duty at all times.
Duty may last as long as fourteen hours per day for up to eight days and may span different time zones and extreme weather.
On duty, may be away from home for seven or more days and nights, staying in hotels.
Secure appropriate airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges.
Pass TSA background screening and other security badges.
Valid State driver's license.
Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
Service‑oriented appearance and strong interaction ability.
Excellent oral and written communication skills under pressure.
Quick and accurate decision making with close attention to detail, both technical and passenger‑service.
Physical capability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
Work around animals, including handling and care before, during, and after Owner flights.
Conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
Base Salary Range $86,015 – $117,706
