About the Role
The Demand Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating accurate demand forecasts across both B2B and DTC channels. This role focuses on translating market trends, sales input, and marketing initiatives into actionable demand plans that drive alignment across departmental teams. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with strong cross‑functional collaboration skills to improve forecast accuracy and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities Forecasting & Analysis
Develop, analyze, and maintain rolling demand forecasts at the SKU, customer, and channel levels (B2B and DTC).
Utilize statistical forecasting tool (Netstock) and techniques to establish a reliable baseline forecast.
Incorporate sales trends, promotions, new product launches, and customer insights into the demand plan.
Continuously evaluate forecast accuracy and identify root causes of variation.
Help develop and prepare regular forecast performance reports (e.g., MAPE, bias, forecast accuracy by customer and channel).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with International Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, and Marketplace teams to capture demand drivers and upcoming marketing initiatives.
Facilitate monthly Demand Consensus Review meetings as part of the S&OP process, ensuring alignment between demand and channel owners.
Communicate forecast updates, risks, and opportunities to your leader to then be used within the monthly Exec S&OP Review.
Build and maintain positive, professional working relationships across internal teams with a consistent commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
Conduct oneself as a professional representative of the company, modeling integrity, respect, and collaboration in all interactions.
Systems & Process Management
Maintain demand planning data and assumptions within forecasting tool (Netstock).
Support the continuous improvement of forecasting models, tools, and reporting processes.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and reports.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
35 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or business analytics.
Proven experience in both B2B and DTC (e-commerce or retail) channels.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; advanced Excel proficiency.
Experience with forecasting or planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Anaplan, Kinaxis, or equivalent).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
Working knowledge of S&OP or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
Skills
Experience using business intelligence tool – Power BI.
Understanding of promotional planning and demand sensing techniques.
Ability to manage large datasets and perform trend or regression analysis.
