Development Engineer II

facility. Role Responsibilities
Leading research programs to convert new technologies into products Leading and managing cross functional, technical teams which may be comprised of personal from R&D and Manufacturing, Purchasing and Sales Managing test programs to ensure design specifications are met Creating written product and technology design guides/presentations Interacting with internal customers to scope and present technology, products, and concepts to stakeholders Using mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to advance engineering projects Demonstrating innovation by helping grow the Donaldson IP portfolio TRAVEL:
up to 10% of the time Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or scientific field 2 years professional engineering experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, and complex design calculations Preferred Qualifications
Engineering experience developing products with applications in fluid handling, filtration, or diesel engines Engineering experience with injection molded plastics, stamped metals, and die cast part designs Good technical and analytical skills: experience in component and assembly design, GD&T, and interpreting FEA/CFD results a plus Knowledge of DFSS methods and process Demonstrated ability and interest in innovation and creativity Familiarity with phase gate, automotive style release processes Good communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to lead others by planning and making decisions for cross-functional teams Annual Salary Range:
$71,900 - $91,700. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, performance.
