Overview of Role Join the Match Community Day elementary school as a Pre‑K Teacher. You will be fully responsible for the growth and achievement of 17‑18 children in your class. A paraprofessional supports you in the classroom. The school day runs 7 am–2:45 pm, with professional development on Wednesdays until 4:30 pm.

Compensation Salary range for new teachers: $61,812 – $98,899. Benefits include 90 % coverage of employee health insurance costs and up to $150 /month in loan repayment assistance.

Responsibilities

Teach all blocks except for Arts and PE.

Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations and provide support to help students reach them.

Actively participate in Match’s coaching and professional development programming.

Assist with school programming during non‑instructional time as needed.

Serve as a positive, collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree.

At least two years of full‑time classroom or special‑education teaching experience, preferably in an urban setting.

Meet Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education certification requirements, or be able to meet them within one year of hire.

Belief that all students can and will succeed.

Desire to continually improve teaching practice through feedback.

Proven record of student growth and achievement.

Current U.S. work authorization.
