Overview

Responsibilities
Lead and support design efforts for transportation and roadway infrastructure projects.
Develop detailed civil design drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and related tools.
Conduct field evaluations and site inspections to gather data and verify existing conditions.
Prepare and manage project schedules, track progress, and produce regular project status reports.
Perform engineering analyses, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates for proposals and bid documents.
Implement QA/QC procedures to ensure compliance with local and state design standards.
Coordinate with municipalities and transportation departments to align project goals and deliverables.
Review and interpret field data, specifications, and reports to optimize project outcomes.
Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and collaborate with project teams to resolve design challenges.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required).
10–15 years of experience in civil design, preferably with roadway or infrastructure projects.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and related civil design applications.
Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables effectively.
Familiarity with local and state transportation standards and specifications.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
