Job Description Summary As part of the Greenville Combustion & Repair COE, qualified individual will have engineering experience associated with the manufacturing process. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.

Roles and Responsibilities

Own the strategic projects and technical solutions aligned to Combustion and Repair Roadmap to deliver on EHS, quality, and cost savings goals within schedule and budget.

Manage project decks and the CAPEX strategy to support overall readiness and continuous improvement efforts in accordance with plant metrics.

Provide technical leadership and direction within the COE to achieve dramatic improvement in equipment operational availability, process first pass yield, process cycle time and cost reduction.

Support early integration of Lean principles in engineering solutions.

Support COE in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment capacity and other resources.

Partner with NPI organization to develop, track, and implement new programs.

Be responsible and accountable to assist with problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Maintain and improve process documentation to ensure consistent quality.

Lead technical breakthroughs that enable lean line transformations.

Lead cross-functional teams to execute LEAN transformation efforts to improve equipment layouts and material flow.

Implement, maintain, and continuously improve 5S methodology in assigned areas; drive culture change.

Drive a robust training program for manufacturing processes to support technical growth within the organization.

Report performance and progress to senior business leadership.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED) with at least 6 years of equivalent experience.

Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Manufacturing Project Management.

Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Operations team leadership.

Desired Characteristics

Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.

Experience with gas turbine repair operations and engineering.

Strong analytical skills.

Prior experience as a process leader and with implementing productivity tools.

Strong organizational skills.

Experience with lean manufacturing implementation.

GE Corporate Training Program graduate in Manufacturing / Operations / Engineering (GE employees only).

Six Sigma training or equivalent quality training.

Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to bring assignments to a successful completion.

Ability to anticipate customer needs and ensure that they are met.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skill.

Pay Transparency For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $103,100.00 - 171,800.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This posting is expected to close on or after November 12, 2025.

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
