Job Description:
The Equipment Readiness Operator is responsible for ensuring equipment is delivered on time and according to operational demands.
The role focuses on improving the reliability, utilization, and efficiency of division equipment assets while reducing the cost of service delivery.
This individual supports the Equipment Readiness Lead and Engineer in preparing equipment for jobs, performing maintenance, organizing documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Equipment Readiness Lead and Engineer in preparing equipment for jobs.
Perform noninvasive maintenance related to final preparation of surface and downhole equipment.
Execute work orders through the Computerized Maintenance Management System, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and organize documentation for calibrations, function tests, material certifications, and inspections.
Prepare equipment and associated critical spares for shipment or staging at designated locations.
Load equipment onto trucks when operational support is unavailable.
Receive and inspect equipment returned to the Technology Lifecycle Management base.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance asset utilization.
Comply with Division TLM standards and the Competency Management System.
Receiving:
Unload incoming trucks or containers safely using a forklift.
Inspect goods for visible damage or discrepancies in count, labeling, or packaging.
Verify paperwork such as bills of lading and packing slips.
Stage materials in the designated receiving area for QA or inventory check.
Move accepted goods to proper storage locations and update bin labels if necessary.
Shipping:
Pick materials from storage according to shipping orders or pick lists.
Stage and organize outgoing goods on pallets and shrink-wrap if required.
Load outbound trucks safely following load plans and weight limits.
Confirm documentation, including shipping labels and bills of lading, is accurate and attached.
Inventory And Housekeeping:
Maintain accurate inventory counts during movements and transfers.
Keep aisles and yard areas free from obstructions.
Report damages, shortages, or unsafe conditions promptly.
Perform daily forklift inspections, including battery, brakes, forks, and hydraulics.
Safety:
Always wear PPE, including helmet and high-visibility vest.
Report unsafe conditions and behaviors immediately.
Skills:
Forklift operations.
Office 365 proficiency.
SAP knowledge.
Safety and equipment operation awareness.
Qualification And Education:
High school diploma required.
Forklift certification required.
