About The Position Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Hospital Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 16:30 Experience: 2 years of recent relevant experience License: State License required Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Must-Have: - Experience in an acute setting - Valid State License at the time of submission - AHA certifications Description: We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist. The role involves assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs. The aim is to help individuals build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills. You will assist clients in achieving general independence. This position requires experience working with persons with disabilities or developmental delays. Candidates should have experience with Epic or similar charting systems. We prioritize candidates with a strong background in acute care settings. All certifications must be in hand at the time of application. A background check will be conducted prior to hiring. Please be prepared to provide information on any background hits or DUIs. This role may require compliance with specific health protocols.
