About the Role The Project Support Analyst (Multi-Domain Sensor & C2 Systems) provides advanced technical and operational support to USAF ACC C2ISR Requirements Division. The role supports U.S. Air Force units in the deployment, sustainment, and integration of air defense sensors, command and control (C2) systems, and tactical infrastructure. Priority is placed on operational knowledge of Point Defense, Counter‑small Unmanned Aerial Systems (C‑sUAS), Air Base Air Defense (ABAD), and Tactical Operations Center‑Light (TOC‑L) integration as a core component.
Responsibilities
C2 Architecture Gap Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments of existing and proposed C2 architectures to identify gaps in capabilities, interoperability, security, and redundancy, and develop recommendations for addressing these gaps and improving overall C2 effectiveness.
Requirements Development & CONOPs: Serve as a technical expert and advisor in the development and documentation of requirements and Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) for:
Radar and Radio Frequency (RF) sensors for early detection and tracking.
Electro‑Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) systems for visual confirmation and identification.
Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and kinetic effectors for threat mitigation and defeat.
C2 Integration: Inform and develop C2 requirements for effective integration and coordination of C‑sUAS, ABAD, CRC, and TOC‑L assets, ensuring a synchronized and layered response to threats.
Network Integration & Data Fusion: Enable seamless connectivity and data fusion across integrated fires networks, including but not limited to, Joint Fires Network (JFN), Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS), and Joint All‑Domain Command and Control (JADC2).
Tactical Communications Support: Enable connectivity and provide support for a variety of tactical communications systems, including tactical radios, SATCOM terminals, and theater deployable communications infrastructure.
Network Architecture & Design: Design, maintain, and troubleshoot network architectures for optimal sensor and C2 integration, ensuring secure and reliable data transmission.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a technical discipline.
Active Top Secret (TS) DoD Security Clearance.
Seven (7) years’ experience on USAF MAJCOM or higher-level staff (combination of active duty, Government service, or Contractor).
Seven (7) years’ operational experience in the CRC, TOC‑L, ABAD, and C‑sUAS mission areas.
Seven (7) years’ experience aligned with Air Force Sensor Maintenance/Operator, C2 Operations, Network Topography & Tactical Communications (Radios & SATCOM) and experience with c‑SUA, ABAD‑MD, TOC‑L sensors, 3DELRR and TPY‑4 radar systems.
Five (5) years’ experience developing, coordinating, and briefing JCIDS documents.
Preferred Experience
Experience with ALPS and MRADR sensor systems.
Familiarity with integrated fires networks such as JFN, ABMS, and JADC2.
Knowledge of Tactical Data Link (TDL) management including Link 16, Link 22, LMMT, SPIDR, and BLOS TDL equipment and network design.
OEM training on radar systems and tactical communications platforms.
