The NY Trading Risk Office (TRO) team collaborates with the heads of all trading desks at Natixis North America to enhance our understanding and management of risk while coordinating the development of quantitative tools to support trading activities. We are seeking a
Quantitative Analyst
to contribute to various projects, including model risk management, pricing, P&L explanations, market data calibration/contribution, and light infrastructure for the team’s tools and reports. The focus will be on our existing fixed income business as well as our expanding equity derivatives platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with senior TRO team members and colleagues in Paris.
Interact with Traders and Front Office Managers to understand their needs.
Concentrate on business improvement and growth initiatives.
Develop ad hoc analyses and reports to support trading strategies.
Design and implement solutions to accommodate regulatory changes and market evolution.
Communicate changes effectively and provide prototypes to Quants and IT teams (Commandos, MDM, Summit, Murex) responsible for development.
Coordinate the rollout of changes, including testing and assessing impacts on P&L and risk.
Continuously enhance our tools and models to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Liaise with model review, audit, and risk teams to synchronize changes.
Stay updated on developments in the financial services industry and regulatory environment, assessing their impact on our business and risk profile.
Qualifications:
Master’s or PhD degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science) with a proven record of academic excellence.
Six+ years of professional experience in related areas.
Strong modeling background within a financial environment.
In-depth knowledge of financial products and the models used for pricing.
Solid understanding of quantitative models and numerical methods.
Proficiency in coding (Python, C#, C++, VBA).
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment.
Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines, with a talent for responding creatively and quickly in fast-paced, changing situations.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and succinctly.

The salary range for this position will be between $165,000 - 210,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
