In this role, you’ll be at the heart of innovation, working on high-voltage transmission projects that span continents. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage complex engineering deliverables, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, global environment. From reviewing plant designs to coordinating with vendors and internal departments, your expertise will directly impact the reliability and efficiency of power systems worldwide.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Lead a team of electrical engineers delivering high-quality FACTS solutions
Manage infrastructure for testing facilities for control and protection systems
Review manufacturing documents and plant design drawings
Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless project execution
Support procurement activities for control and protection equipment
Evaluate and coordinate vendor deliverables and sub-supplier selection
Drive process improvements and contribute to strategic initiatives
Support global programs like Scale-to-Potential and Regional Center of Competence
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical preferred)
Proven experience in leadership roles (line/project management)
Background in the FACTS industry and high-voltage transmission systems
Familiarity with EPC project environments
Knowledge of National Electric Code and ANSI/IEEE standards
Experience in control and protection cubicle design preferred
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
