Overview Livewell Animal Hospitals are start‑up hospitals built in partnership between Mission Pet Health and Founding Veterinarians. As a Founding DVM, you can shape, launch, and lead a fully funded hospital built around your medical passions and your community’s needs. The hospitals are designed to reflect the vision of their founders — not a cookie‑cutter template — with a concierge‑level commitment to individualized, high‑quality care. You’ll be supported every step of the way, but empowered to practice medicine the way you have always dreamed of!
Each Livewell location is carefully selected based on strong demographic, market, and growth data — to give the Founding DVM and hospital the best chance at long‑term success. As the Founding Lead Veterinarian for this hospital relocation to the Bellaire area of Houston, you will partner with an amazing, tenured, hospital manager and have the opportunity to earn significant growth incentives as you successfully build the practice, add teammates, and build a five‑star clientele for the hospital. We will have your back every step of the way to support with hospital design, equipment procurement, recruitment, highly intentional marketing plans, medical and operational support, and many other administrative functions.
Your new general practice animal hospital will be a standalone, 4,000 square foot hospital featuring modern, open spaces with bright elements to support a comforting environment for your furry friends, pet parents, and team. It will be conveniently located half a mile west of Loop 610 and 1.5 miles south of US 59. Day time traffic is optimal as it is positioned directly south of a 70,000 square‑foot H.E.B. with a five‑mile daytime population of 595,000.
If you are an experienced veterinarian with an appetite for professional and/or financial growth, have strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and are passionate about high‑quality care and client experience — this is the perfect opportunity for you!
