Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students within a school setting in the Atlanta, GA metropolitan area. This contract position spans the full school year (NSY), providing a collaborative environment where dedicated professionals can make a meaningful impact on student communication skills.
Key responsibilities
Delivering speech-language therapy services to a diverse student population across K-12 grades
Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring student progress
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
Preferred qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist
Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome; Speech‑Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible
Experience working with school‑aged children and providing direct therapy services in an educational environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
This position is available immediately with multiple openings throughout metro Atlanta, allowing candidates to express preferences for caseload type or specific locations. The workweek encompasses 37.5 hours over the school schedule, typically 25-26 weeks in duration.
