We are seeking an Information Technology Finance Manager to join our team. This position will report directly to the VP of Financial Planning and Analysis and serve as a key liaison between Finance and IT leadership. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial analyses, budgets, and forecasts, and interpreting IT financial data related to both operating expenses and capital investments.
In this role, you will work under general supervision but operate with significant independence. You will have a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Chief Information Officer and IT leadership team, giving you a unique opportunity to influence strategic technology and business decisions.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly financial results for IT leadership, including profit and loss analysis, general reporting, and special projects.
Provide clear, insightful presentations to senior management on IT financial performance, trends, and necessary improvements.
Support annual IT budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.
Monitor capital versus expense classifications and ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards.
Respond to inquiries regarding budgets and financial statements, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Prepare monthly management reports comparing actual results with budgets and forecasts.
Collaborate with IT leaders to ensure financial alignment with strategic goals.
Adhere to all HIPAA privacy and Business Ethics & Compliance programs.
Participate in special projects as needed.
About You Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, capital vs. operating expense treatment, and IT spend analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; advanced Excel skills preferred.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Preferred Experience
Prior IT finance or technology-related budget management experience.
Experience with financial systems and reporting tools.
Travel Requirement
Approximately 10–20%.
