JOB PURPOSE

The Quality Manager will plan, coordinate and direct quality control program designed to ensure continuous quality of product is consistent with the established standards.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and analyze statistical data to determine component specification for quality and reliability Create and maintain quality control objectives and implement inspection criteria and procedures Facilitate airline audits Coordinate objectives on production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs Supervise and maintain inspection and testing activity to ensure continuous improvement on material, facility and product Interpret test data on product to determine root cause of failures and recommend corrective actions Maintain and interpret revision on quality control procedure manual Build rapport with vendor for purchase of quality material for company use Create and direct environmental test functions Design and implement quality control training programs Coordinate, assist and manage quality audit request, investigate customer complaints and adjust accordingly Requirements include:

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S) or 4 years' related experience 6 years' experience working with FAA Ability to work well in a self-directed or team environment Proficiency in computer skills (MS Word, Office, Excel) Ability to read, write, and comprehend in English Strong communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility to work overtime and/or weekends when needed Meet physical requirement: sitting, frequently walking, bending, stooping, climbing and balancing, reaching above shoulder level, kneeling, squatting, lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs, visual acuity and manual dexterity
