Head of Quality Assurance About the Company Esteemed biotechnology company Industry Biotechnology Type Privately Held About the Role We are seeking a strategic and accomplished Head of Quality Assurance to lead and shape the quality functions of our organization. In this critical role, you will ensure compliance and operational excellence across all stages of product development, from early research through to commercialization. You will be at the forefront of our quality strategy, regulatory preparation, and team development, focusing on our mission to deliver innovative biologic therapies to patients globally. Key responsibilities include: Developing and executing a comprehensive quality strategy. Building and leading a high-performing quality team. Overseeing global third-party partners to uphold quality standards. Ideal candidates will possess an advanced scientific degree in a relevant life sciences field, with a PhD preferred. A minimum of 15 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors is essential, including at least 8 years in executive leadership positions. You should have a proven record in the development of biologics, particularly in large molecule therapeutics and sterile manufacturing, as well as a deep understanding of global regulatory standards. Your experience in managing external partners and your history of designing and scaling quality systems will be critical in this role. We are looking for a motivational leader who can seamlessly integrate quality considerations into every aspect of our business and effectively manage financial and resource planning for the quality function.
