Description
The PEET US ADC Periphery team is hiring an Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) Engineer I to support development in ADC regions across a variety of AWS services including AWS Wickr and other emerging technology services. You will design, deploy, monitor, and automate infrastructure, tools, and systems to provide a highly‑available and resilient platform for our customers' and our team’s workloads.

AWS has established a specialized group of service teams responsible for work with the U.S. Intelligence Community. We are building some of the largest and most complex distributed systems in the world and need adaptable people to help us implement and operate them.
The Periphery team supports the AWS Wickr services for U.S. Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) customers. AWS Wickr provides encrypted communications for our public‑sector customers. We also support a variety of emerging technologies for our U.S. ADC customers.
This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.
Basic Qualifications
High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+
1+ years of systems administration (Linux/Windows) experience
Experience debugging and systems analysis to identify and quickly resolve or mitigate issues
Current, active U.S. Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cloud‑computing technologies
Experience with support procedures and methodologies for production computing environments
Experience with performance and log analysis

The base pay for this position ranges from $81,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $152,000/year in our highest geographic market.
Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
