The iconic Hotel del Coronado, a historic Victorian wooden beach resort, recently completed a $400M renovation and expansion. Located on Coronado Island near Downtown San Diego, the 28‑acre property features more than 750 rooms, cottages, and villas, 65,000 sq ft of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets.
Classification: Temporary (approximately until the first week of January 2026)
Shift: AM Shift – weekends and holidays availability required.
Pay Rate: $21.20 per hour
What will I be doing?
Receive and place products in their assigned storeroom location in an organized manner.
Check items received against purchase orders to verify accuracy.
Rotate perishable stock to keep all food items fresh.
Issue and deliver products from the storeroom to departments, including weighing, counting, and verifying each item against requisitions.
Conduct inventories as directed and ensure all food, beverage, and general merchandise items are listed on inventory lists.
Qualifications
Be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift.
Experience in related fields.
High school level education or equivalent.
Knowledge of food and beverage operations.
Basic mathematical and computer skills for tracking and receiving deliveries.
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English to complete forms, inventories, and communicate with coworkers and purveyors.
Operating office machines such as calculator/10‑key, copier, fax, and telephone.
Organization and time‑management skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
