Site Supervisor Responsibilities

The essential functions involve the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of security systems within the Integrated Base Defense Security Systems (IBDSS) framework, including the full life cycle from initial installation to development, testing, and Qualification Test and Evaluation (QT&E) at Test Area C-3. Demonstrate comprehensive, detailed knowledge of IBDSS technologies and components such as Command and Control (C2) Systems, Detection Systems, Assessment/Surveillance Systems, Access Control Systems, and Delay/Denial Systems. Work with a range of sensor platforms and technologies (e.g., Buried Line Sensors, Passive/Active Infrared, Microwave, Optical Fence-M Mounted Detection Systems) and troubleshoot integration issues. General Duties

Maintain a high level of interpersonal skill to handle sensitive, proprietary, and confidential information. Interpret requirements documents including AF 31-101, Air Force Security Systems Siting Criteria, test documents, and vendor manuals/technical literature. Independently identify and diagnose malfunctions or anomalies within the system or sensors. Proactively resolve system deficiencies or issues and ensure efficient, effective operation with minimal supervision. Demonstrate initiative and technical expertise to address challenges and maintain continuous system performance and reliability. Qualifications and Requirements

Education/Experience:

Technical or service school graduate with five years of applicable experience. Formal training or equivalent experience in installation and operation of Air Force accepted annunciator systems and approved security systems. Other Requirements:

Secret security clearance eligibility; capable of maintaining a Secret clearance. Travel may be required for worldwide Government Acceptance Testing (GAT) for new base security systems. Technical Proficiencies:

Perimeter fence installation standards knowledge; fiber optic and computer networking devices; troubleshooting and repair capabilities. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and TEAMS for project updates and communications with SPO, TW personnel, engineering staff, and system vendors for accurate project and budget updates. Physical and Work Environment:

Ability to work indoors and outdoors under varying environmental conditions; capable of lifting/moving items as required by the job. Equal Opportunity and Additional Information
