This position is not related to environmental testing, medical or laboratory sciences, biology, chemistry, etc. This position is construction-related and involves heavy lifting and getting dirty and requires the experience and certification(s) listed below A Geotechnical & Environmental Sciences Consultant has an immediate opening for a Concrete/Soils/Aggregate Laboratory Technician in Arizona. Experience in laboratory testing for soils, concrete, aggregate and/or asphalt, along with certification in ATTI and ACI are required. The successful candidate will have knowledge regarding the standard laboratory test methods including, but are not limited to, asphalt content by ignition, marshall/gyratory, maximum theoretical density, sand equivalent, uncompacted voids, proctors, sieves, Atterberg Limits, Compression, Sampling, and splitting of samples. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have ATTI/ASTM/AASHTO, NAQTC and a current ACI certification. ACI Concrete Strength, ACI Aggregates, ACI Aggregate Base, ATTI Soils and Aggregate, ATTI Asphalt, and NAQTC Sampling Density, Aggregates, and Asphalt Extended certifications are . Required Skills

Candidate should have excellent mathematical, computer, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Possesses a positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Candidate must have a current valid driver's license and the ability to lift 60 pounds repeatedly as part of the daily duties. Location(s): Position can be based out of our Phoenix, Tucson, Prescott or Safford office. Traveling requirements include, but are not limited to, extended periods of time, which could be till completion of project, in remote locations with workdays and times dependent on testing needs.
