Recruiting Manager - Engineering & Construction

to join their team in Tysons, Virginia (fully onsite). This role will lead full cycle recruitment and build a high performing talent pipeline for engineering, electrical construction and project leadership roles in a fast paced, technically complex environment.

Must Haves as the Recruiting Manager - Engineering & Construction

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Engineering or related field

Minimum 7 years of progressive recruiting/talent acquisition experience, including at least 3 years managing technical hiring for engineering or construction roles

Demonstrated experience recruiting senior engineering leaders and senior project leaders (preferably in electrical construction, systems integration or infrastructure)

Strong understanding of roles such as electrical engineers (power systems, controls, design), superintendents, BIM modelers, and design assist/construct teams

Proven success using recruiting tools/ATS (e.g., Workday, iCIMS, LinkedIn Recruiter), analytics and data driven hiring metrics

Excellent stakeholder management skills (working with VPs, SVPs, Directors, project delivery leads) in a matrixed and deadline driven environment

Comfortable with fast paced project staffing, high stakes hiring and working onsite full time

What You’ll Do as the Recruiting Manager - Engineering & Construction

Lead and mentor a team of recruiters and sourcers dedicated to engineering and construction hiring (senior engineering leaders, senior project leaders, superintendents, field engineers)

Partner closely with operational, engineering, project delivery and leadership stakeholders to understand staffing needs, project ramp ups and workforce logistics

Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies for roles such as power systems engineers, controls engineers, BIM modelers, commissioning engineers, superintendents and other mission critical construction professionals

Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle from job postings through candidate screening, technical assessment, interview coordination, offer negotiation, onboarding and time to fill metrics

Build and maintain strategic talent pipelines (including cleared professionals) through niche engineering/PM networks, associations, job boards, social media and external staffing partners

Drive recruiting compliance (OFCCP, EEO) and produce dashboards and reports for senior leadership

Nice to Haves as the Recruiting Manager - Engineering & Construction

Talent acquisition certification (e.g., AIRS, SHRM TAS) or HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM CP/SCP)

Experience hiring cleared candidates (Secret or higher) or within federal contracting environments

Prior experience filling roles in large scale electrical construction, mission critical facilities, data centers, utilities or similar

Experience managing external agency relationships and vendor spend
