Responsibilities
The Senior Assistant Director of Admissions shares in the responsibilities involved with the recruitment and selection of talented undergraduates. Interact with prospective students, parents, high school guidance counselors, alumni & student volunteers, and faculty; strong public speaking and writing skills are required. Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of differing groups of students and a commitment to a diverse student body. Conduct frequent on-campus presentations to prospective students and their families. Daily management of a geographic region and assigned travel designed to attract qualified students and participate in the application review process. Willingness to travel and some weekend and evening time commitments. Collateral duties are assigned based on an individual’s strengths and interests. Work Interactions
This position reports to a Director of Admissions, Senior Associate or Associate Director of Admissions and serves as a regional admissions officer. Interacts with other members of the Admissions committees in evaluating student applications. Externally, interacts with students and parents in on-campus information sessions, individual meetings, phone conversations, and visits to high schools within the assigned admissions region. Engages with Alumni serving on AAP committees. Qualifications
Five or more years of prior admissions or related experience is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree is required, but a Master’s degree is highly preferred. Work Mode Designation

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position represents the full range of anticipated compensation:
$41,926.00 - $65,090.00 . Compensation is determined by factors including the candidate’s qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors. Submission Guidelines
