Description The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The General Manager sets restaurant goals with leadership, creates plans to achieve those goals, and works collaboratively with departmental managers to provide coaching and direction.
Responsibilities
Operate a profitable restaurant while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
Set and track restaurant goals and develop plans to achieve them.
Lead and coach Department Managers, helping them set and meet their own goals.
Oversee the hiring and development of Department and Shift Managers.
Collaborate with leadership to align restaurant operations with corporate standards.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older.
Previous managerial experience, preferably in quick‑service restaurants, hospitality, or retail.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
