Senior Tax Associate – Denver, Colorado
Overview
We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join our practice in Denver, Colorado. You will work with a select team providing tax compliance services to predominantly manufacturing and distribution clients. The right candidate is organized, proactive, results‑oriented, and can manage projects, work under time pressures, multi-task, and communicate effectively. Responsibilities
Prepare Federal and state corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns Perform technical tax research on a variety of Federal, state, and international tax topics Conduct a variety of tax consulting projects such as permanent establishment analyses and nexus studies Assist with the preparation of income tax provisions for corporate taxpayers under ASC 740 Deliver timely, high‑quality services and deliverables that exceed client expectations Maintain active communication to manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction Prepare clear, concise workpapers and other communications Effectively delegate and oversee the work efforts by setting goals, providing resources, and removing obstacles Provide timely training, coaching, and performance feedback to staff associates Collaborate with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development opportunities Required Skills & Experience
3 years of professional experience, preferably in public accounting BA/BS degree in Accounting or Master’s degree in Accounting/Taxation Excellent research, writing, and communication skills in English Process‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi‑task Positive team‑player attitude Preferred Skills & Experience
CPA license or similar certification is preferred, but not required German writing and communication skills are an advantage, but not required Experience in the manufacturing and distribution industry Experience with CCH Axcess Tax Pay Range in Denver Metropolitan Area
Base Pay Range:
$75,000–$90,000
per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Benefits
