What We're Looking For We are seeking a dynamic Store Manager who embodies GNC's "Live Well" philosophy – living strong, living long, and living fit. The Store Manager will lead, coach, and support the team to provide exceptional service and guidance to customers, overseeing daily operations, business performance, and product management.
Responsibilities
Ensure products are merchandised according to GNC standards and are visible and available for purchase.
Support the total shopping experience, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and the customer relationship that drives sales and repeat business (e.g., MYGNC Rewards).
Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals while helping sales associates realize their potential.
Build strong teams, provide feedback on performance, recruit, hire, and manage store associates.
Open, close, and operate the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits per GNC procedures.
Attend community fairs, conferences, meetings, and other public gatherings to promote GNC’s mission and initiatives.
Environmental Factors & Working Schedule
Must stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting below waist and above shoulders.
Frequent use of repetitive hand‑to‑finger motions; reach with hands and arms.
Lifting up to twenty pounds regularly, occasionally up to forty pounds.
Ability to climb ladders, reach, and bend.
Work in temperatures ranging from 50°–85°F, especially in stock room areas.
Use of computer up to 60% of the time.
