Understand and work with camera cabling structures, including tracing and mapping connections Accurately document cable-to-device connections using client-approved methods and labeling standards Install, terminate, and test nurse call and low voltage cabling systems in hospitals Read and follow wiring diagrams, as-builts, and network schematics to verify connections Maintain detailed documentation of installed systems for client records Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and infection control protocols Escalate any conflicts, inconsistencies, or out-of-scope findings to field leadership Skills & Knowledge
Proven ability to identify and document cabling connections for cameras, nurse call, or similar low voltage systems Hands-on experience in healthcare facilities or other active, occupied environments Familiarity with ANSI/TIA/EIA cabling standards and NEC codes Skilled with CAT5e, CAT6, coaxial cabling, and structured cabling environments Proficient with cable testers, labeling tools, and documentation practices Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in recording system layouts Requirements
High school diploma or GED 2-5 years of low voltage cabling experience (camera cabling documentation) Ability to independently trace, verify, and document cable-to-device connections Reliable transportation and ability to work evenings when required Professionalism and discretion when working in occupied hospital environments Pay & Benefits
