The optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye exams, establish long‑term patient relationships, and educate patients on eye care. The role focuses on full capacity practice, driving growth, and meeting patients’ visual needs. Responsibilities
Conduct eye exams Establish long‑term patient relationships through proper care and education Perform verbal patient interviews to determine health & ocular history Advise patients on options for ametropias and systemic or ocular disease Perform vision tests and analyze results Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications Recommend or provide treatments such as vision therapy or low‑vision rehabilitation (brand specific) Provide pre/post‑operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery Communicate with opticians and other sales staff for optimal lens recommendations Work Schedule
Full‑time (5 days/week) Thursday off (requires all Saturdays worked; may consider one Saturday off per month) Target of 4 patients per hour Compensation & Benefits
