Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) to design, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and analytical solutions on Azure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data engineering, cloud data architecture, and automation using modern data tools.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Snowflake, and ADF.
Build scalable ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data.
Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
Implement data integration, transformation, and automation using Azure and Snowflake services.
Manage and monitor data flows, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure data quality and consistency.
Contribute to architectural design and define best practices for cloud-based data platforms.
Required Skills
12+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
Strong hands‑on experience with Azure Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Proficient in PySpark, SQL, and Python for data transformation and automation.
Experience with Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, Snowflake Data Warehouse, and data lake architectures.
Knowledge of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and Git integration for data workflows.
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT design, data modeling, and performance tuning across Azure and Snowflake environments.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Azure DevOps, Power BI, or Azure Synapse Analytics.
Familiarity with data governance, security, and metadata management in Azure and Snowflake.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
