Production Manager - Cosmetics & Skincare
Reports to:
Director of Production & Property Management
Department:
Operations - F&A
Responsibilities
Reset and manage overall F&A standards and work procedures to optimize productivity, efficiency, and line run‑rate & man‑hour performance, and establish standardized work instructions
Review automation investment plans together with the mechanics and production managers, and proceed with investment‑related purchases such as consumables required for process improvement and implementation
Lead strategic oversight of new product introductions, including Line Trials and first production runs, ensuring readiness and alignment with business objectives
Strengthen OTC packaging validation management, emphasizing operational efficiency, data‑driven validation, and regulatory compliance
Troubleshoot packaging and production issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to maintain quality and operational efficiency
Drive cross‑functional initiatives with Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to improve processes and standardize best practices
Oversee and coach production staff to improve technical capability, safety awareness, and process discipline
Support decision‑making for resource allocation, process improvements, and operational prioritization, ensuring consistent product and packaging quality
Provide reliable business support through strong collaboration with the Sales and QC departments
Attend weekly Gate Review meetings to discuss new and existing customers' projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
Minimum 8–10 years of production or manufacturing management experience; experience in OTC, cosmetics, or personal care industry preferred
Strong understanding of production processes, packaging operations, and validation procedures
Hands‑on experience in equipment operations and staff skill development
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
Proven ability to lead diverse teams, including multi‑lingual and multicultural workforces
Compensation & Benefits
Pay range: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
