A growing multi-family office is seeking a Portfolio Associate to provide comprehensive investment management and portfolio administration services. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with active Series 7 and 66 licenses who is currently executing and rebalancing trades. Approximately 20% of the role involves working in Tamarac, including model rebalances and trade execution. Key Responsibilities
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research of mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative investments to support asset allocation and portfolio construction Execute trades, rebalance portfolios, and perform reconciliation activities Prepare presentation materials, including client portfolio asset allocation, performance reporting, financial plans, and portfolio recommendations Assist in new client acquisition materials and portfolio analysis Collaborate with portfolio management and client service teams to support efficient portfolio operations Maintain and update investment databases and systems (Tamarac, FACTSET, Morningstar Direct, Salesforce, E-Money) Key Qualifications
BA/BS degree; pursuing or completed CFP, CFA, or CIMA designation preferred Active FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses required 3–5 years of investment management experience, including mutual fund/ETF/alternative investment due diligence Hands-on experience with trade execution, portfolio management, and manager due diligence Strong client-facing communication and consulting skills with high business acumen Proficiency with Excel; experience with Python, SQL, or other coding a plus Familiarity with systems such as Tamarac, E-Money, FACTSET, Morningstar Direct, Salesforce Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills Must be based in Westchester County, NY or Stamford/Norwalk, CT Job Details
