is partnering with a well‑established organization in the Baltimore area to hire a hands‑on, high‑volume Collections Manager to lead collections strategy, reduce delinquency, and support a team of AR Collectors. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys improving processes while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Pay Range Base annual salary: $100,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year. Additional compensation may include annual bonus.
Responsibilities
Oversee high‑volume collections activity and ensure timely follow‑up on outstanding receivables.
Conduct professional and persistent collection outreach while strengthening customer relationships.
Troubleshoot and resolve billing issues and account discrepancies.
Manage assigned account portfolios including reconciliations, adjustments, short payments, write‑offs, and credit‑card processing.
Track and drive measurable reduction in past‑due balances and delinquency.
Partner with sales and senior leadership on escalated accounts and collection barriers.
Train, mentor, and support AR Collectors to enhance team performance.
Qualifications
5+ years of collections experience in a high‑volume environment.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Detail‑oriented, proactive approach to managing AR and customer follow‑through.
