Our Client, an Automotive company, is looking for a Controls Engineer for their Detroit, MI location. Responsibilities
As a Controls Engineer you will be addressing production issues alongside quality, manufacturing, and maintenance teams. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain, and improve existing production processes by using continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques. Configure, program, test and troubleshoot PLC based control systems and associated components Electrical troubleshooting and testing of controls systems, control panels, and associated equipment Diagnose and correct deficiencies in manufacturing processes and equipment Develop innovative solutions Support and actively interact with manufacturing, maintenance, and quality groups Continuously improve quality, cost, responsiveness & safety Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with a major in electrical or mechatronics engineering, or equivalent automation controls engineering experience Proficiency in industrial networking protocols – Profibus, Profinet, TCP / IP and EthernetIP HMI – Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell FactoryTalk View PLC – Rockwell ControlLogix and / or Siemens F families Servo drive systems – Siemens G and S families, and Rockwell Powerflex and Kinetix years of Controls experience in a Manufacturing environment Vision Cameras Fanuc or Siemens CNC experience Fanuc Robot Programming experience Why Should You Apply?
