Responsibilities
Develop Global Strategies:
Lead the creation and execution of sourcing strategies that enhance efficiency, innovation, and long-term value across key product categories. Leverage Market Intelligence:
Stay ahead of trends and emerging markets to uncover new sourcing opportunities and strengthen competitiveness. Lead Negotiations:
Partner with global suppliers to achieve the best total value-balancing cost, quality, service, and reliability. Collaborate Across Teams:
Work closely with product development, supply chain, and operations teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals. Optimize Supplier Performance:
Manage and improve supplier relationships to ensure quality, sustainability, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. Develop and refine global sourcing strategies and implement best practices across assigned categories. Conduct market and cost analyses, including
Should-Cost
and
commodity price
evaluations. Negotiate and manage long-term purchase agreements to optimize cost and mitigate supply risks. Explore new and emerging markets to expand sourcing capabilities and enhance supply chain resilience. Partner with product development teams to support innovation and speed to market. Continuously assess supplier performance, driving accountability and improvement. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related business field. Minimum
2+ years
of experience in global sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management. Proven expertise in negotiation, cost modeling, and supplier performance management. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and strong financial analysis capabilities. Demonstrated success working with global suppliers-particularly in the
Asia-Pacific
region. Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills. Familiarity with diverse manufacturing processes and materials.
