Seven Hills Pediatric Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced
Program Director I – Pediatric Congregate Care
to oversee the daily operations of a residential program serving children with medical complexity and intellectual disabilities under the age of 22. This leadership role ensures high-quality, responsive care and fosters an environment of dignity, empowerment, and respect for all individuals served.
This position serves at the Medically Complex Behavioral Residence in Groton, Massachusetts, providing individualized, trauma-informed care for youth ages 12–18 with both complex medical and behavioral needs in a supportive and therapeutic environment.
Pay: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00

Responsibilities
Oversee all facets of residential programming, including staffing, scheduling, compliance, and service delivery
Serve as primary contact for families, guardians, clinicians, physicians, and agency partners (DCF, DMH, DPH, DDS)
Lead and support staff in implementing therapeutic interventions and service plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and review educational and service goals
Ensure compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards
Participate in intake procedures and support personal care needs of program participants
Coordinate training programs and documentation systems
Promote choice, independence, and dignity for all individuals served
Provide on‑call support to ensure effective communication and continuity of care
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field (required)
Experience:
3–5 years of related experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Certifications:
CPR/First Aid required
Driver’s License:
Standard Class C or D license required
Preferred:
Pediatric experience
Skills and Knowledge
Leadership, team collaboration, and staff supervision
Program development and risk management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of regulatory standards and therapeutic models
