Position Overview
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of all manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on manufacturing equipment to ensure peak performance.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues in machinery.
Implement corrective actions and modifications to restore and improve equipment functionality.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
Assist in the installation and setup of new manufacturing equipment.
Conduct performance testing to verify machinery efficiency and reliability.
Perform equipment setups by following detailed setup sheets.
Responsibilities may vary slightly depending on location.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical or vocational training in mechanical or electrical maintenance preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or a related field
At least 2 years of experience maintaining hydraulic and electrical systems
