Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT CT certification and at least 2 years of experience for a weekend day shift role at a Level I trauma center.

Responsibilities Work in a Level I trauma center with high complexity cases Assignment covers both outpatient and inpatient settings Perform CT imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstructions Preferred experience performing advanced CT procedures such as aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and transplant studies Utilize all Siemens CT scanners Use EPIC as the EMR system; EPIC experience preferred Schedule is Saturday through Monday, 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM Position does not require call, with floating within the hospital as needed No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius First-time travelers are accepted Black, red, or white scrubs required No more than 7 days of requested time off during a 13-week contract; no RTO granted in the first week of orientation Permanent employees must wait one year before returning as a traveler Return policy: Travelers can stay for up to 12 months with a 6-month break required, or 18 months with a 3-month break required depending on role Required to complete fit testing; must be clean-shaven for mask fit Parking is available for a fee; orientation parking is not reimbursed Modules and compliance requirements must be completed before start date This is a weekend-only position

Requirements Active ARRT (CT) certification required at time of consideration Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience required BLS certification required Experience with PACS and contrast administration required Experience with Siemens scanners preferred Experience in Level I Trauma or large hospital setting preferred General skills with IV starts, portables, and biopsies preferred Valid state license required at time of consideration; Missouri requires a compact or MO license if applicable EPIC charting experience preferred
