Job Title: SMT Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled SMT Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, refining, and optimizing Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems to enhance inspection accuracy and efficiency. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys analyzing data, troubleshooting systems, and collaborating with teams to ensure product quality.
Responsibilities
Create, refine, and optimize AOI systems to improve inspection accuracy and efficiency.
Program AOI equipment to inspect specific products and operate the systems during production.
Identify and resolve issues with AOI hardware and software.
Analyze inspection data to find patterns, improve processes, and ensure product quality.
Work with manufacturing and quality teams to implement quality control initiatives and improve overall product quality.
Essential Skills
Experience with AOI, SMT, IPC standards, and PCB technologies.
Ability to operate surface mount technology equipment.
Proficiency in data analysis and programming AOI systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Relevant experience in engineering or a related technical field.
Familiarity with image processing software and machine vision technologies.
IPC-A-610 certification is preferred.
Work Environment
The position involves working onsite in a Lab/SMT environment from Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week with occasional overtime. The role provides a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a mission-driven organization.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
