Responsible for identifying, evaluating, analyzing, and recommending changes in support of assigned Epic applications, with a primary focus on the Epic Optime/Anesthesia suite. Responsibilities include ongoing production maintenance and troubleshooting, as well as planning, design, development, build and/or configuration of supported applications. Leads and/or coordinates system conversions, application testing, and documentation of procedures. Contributes to training design and development, assists with training delivery, provides go-live support, and serves as the primary point of contact for ongoing production support and issue resolution. Participates in the on-call/after-hours support schedule as defined within the group. May serve as Lead or Project Manager for medium to large-sized projects. Responsibilities

Implementation: Evaluate project requests associated with systems supported, conduct current state assessments, gather requirements, design future state, and build applications. Lead implementation teams in planning, design, development, testing, and deployment. Develop training curriculum, post-implementation documentation and production support services. Ensure systems design supports corporate policies and federal legislation. Project Management: Prepare detailed project plans. Lead Application Team in adhering to schedules and timelines, completing projects on time and within budget. Identify and elevate issues. Facilitate change request process and prepare supporting documentation. Maintenance, Support and Troubleshooting: Monitor, acknowledge and resolve ServiceNow tickets. Coordinate software and hardware patches, service packs and version upgrades with customer departments and System Administrator(s). Develop and maintain documentation for system procedures. Administrative: Log hours for project-related work in ServiceNow weekly. Create test cases and scripts in ALM Quality Center. Attend meetings as required. Production Support and Maintenance: On-call support as defined; ensure integrity, integration and stability of production systems; develop complex system designs as needed. How You’ll Be Successful

At least 4 years of work-related experience. Project management experience. Direct experience with similar systems installed at Children's. Education

Four-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Must complete required training and testing within 90 days. Internal candidates: 4 years of direct application experience overrides the need for a bachelor’s degree. Licenses and Certifications

Epic Optime certification or Epic Anesthesia certification (preferred). Seniority level
