Job Title Full-Stack Software Engineer

Location Hybrid – Salt Lake City, UT (2–3 days per week on-site)

Role Overview Join a fast‑growing, founder‑led healthtech company that blends AI innovation with human expertise to make healthcare operations more efficient and patient‑centered. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the CTO on end‑to‑end development of a next‑generation AI platform used by clinics nationwide. You’ll help scale a live product, own major architectural decisions, and build solutions that directly improve the delivery of care. The ideal candidate is an experienced full‑stack engineer who thrives in startup environments, is fluent in modern frameworks like Next.js and Supabase, and is excited about applying LLMs, real‑time data, and edge computing to meaningful, real‑world use cases.

Key Responsibilities

Build full‑stack features using Next.js (App Router, RSC, Route Handlers), TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.

Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas; implement Supabase auth, RLS policies, and performance‑tuned queries.

Develop and deploy edge/serverless logic on Cloudflare Workers using KV, Durable Objects, Queues, and R2.

Create robust APIs and integrations, applying caching, CDN, and edge strategies for scalability.

Implement real‑time features via Supabase Realtime or WebSockets, with occasional voice or WebRTC functionality.

Integrate LLM agent capabilities (retrieval, tool use, workflows) to enhance user experience.

Uphold HIPAA‑compliant and secure coding standards across all deployments.

Write clean, testable code with full coverage (unit, integration, E2E) and participate in peer reviews.

Monitor production systems using observability tooling, driving improvements in performance, accessibility, and SEO.

Collaborate closely with product and design from discovery through delivery, documenting decisions and trade‑offs.

Education & Qualifications

3+ years building production‑grade web applications.

Strong TypeScript, React/Next.js expertise, with experience in SSR/ISR and performance optimization.

Hands‑on experience with Supabase or similar BaaS platforms (PostgreSQL, auth, storage, migrations).

Familiarity with serverless or edge runtimes (Cloudflare Workers preferred).

Solid grounding in authentication/authorization, data modeling, and secure coding practices.

Proficiency with Git, CI/CD workflows, testing frameworks, and modern developer tooling.

Strong communication skills and an ownership mindset in a hybrid work model.

Expertise in Tailwind CSS for responsive, accessible, maintainable UI design.

Preferred Experience

Exposure to LLM agent frameworks (e.g., MCP, function/tool calling, pgvector, retrieval strategies).

Experience with real‑time or voice technologies (WebRTC, Twilio, Daily, Agora, Web Speech API).

Background in health tech, including HIPAA, SOC 2, or FHIR/HL7 environments.

Familiarity with Cloudflare Platform tools (KV, Durable Objects, R2, Queues).

Experience implementing testing and observability frameworks (Playwright, Vitest, Jest, OpenTelemetry, Sentry).

A product‑minded approach—comfortable working iteratively with data, telemetry, and user feedback.

Why Us

Direct collaboration with the CTO and early engineering ownership.

Hybrid flexibility (2‑3 days/wk on‑site) with a modern office in Salt Lake City.

Competitive salary ($140,000 – $200,000 DOE) and equity participation.

Learning budget, high‑performance hardware, and cutting‑edge development stack.

Further benefits to be discussed during the interview process.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis now and in the future. This position does not offer sponsorship.
