Position:
Senior Application Analyst with Epic Dorothy or Dorothy Revenue Cycle (Home Health or Home Health Revenue Cycle) certification. This role is ideal for a seasoned Epic professional who thrives in a dynamic healthcare IT environment and is passionate about optimizing systems to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
installation, configuration, and upgrade
of Epic applications and components.
Provide
go-live and rollout support , ensuring smooth adoption of new systems.
Partner with clinicians, business users, and IT teams to
analyze workflows, gather requirements, and design optimal solutions .
Translate user requirements into
system specifications
and coordinate modifications with internal teams or vendors.
Develop and execute
test plans
for new systems, upgrades, and modifications; document outcomes thoroughly.
Deliver
application implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing support .
Participate in
technical integrations and interface builds .
Create and maintain
accurate documentation, training materials, and user guides .
Design and run
database queries and reports
using reporting tools.
Mentor and support junior analysts, fostering team growth and knowledge sharing.
Provide
day-to-day operational support , proactive monitoring, and recommend process improvements.
Participate in a
24/7 on-call rotation
for user support.
Offer
on-site support
at Montefiore hospitals and affiliates as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Epic certification
in Dorothy or Dorothy Revenue Cycle (Epic Home Health Billing)
Epic Hospital Billing certification will also be considered.
Epic Claims certification strongly preferred.
5+ years of clinical or business experience
in healthcare IT.
Proven expertise in
application/system implementation, troubleshooting, testing, and support .
Strong proficiency with
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) .
Demonstrated
project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills .
Excellent
communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities .
Highly organized with strong
documentation and follow-up skills .
Ability to adapt in a
fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities .
Must meet all requirements for Epic certification as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
Dorothy Mobile .
Dual Epic certification in
Revenue Cycle and Clinical .
Programming or other technical skills.
