Senior Database Administrator (DBA)
The Senior Database Administrator (DBA) serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise database systems supporting mission‑critical applications. The role involves hands‑on support for SQL Server, SQL Cluster Environments, Oracle, MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS Access databases, ensuring high performance, availability, and security.

What you’ll do
Troubleshooting daily SQL Server and SQL Cluster issues. This includes system setups and configuration, error triage, etc.
Respond to Requests for Changes (RFC) assigned for maintenance as well as FootPrints requests related to GBIS.
Assisting users in creating and building SQL and Oracle databases. Troubleshooting issues related to SQL, Oracle, or MS Access as well as application related issues (e.g., SharePoint and others) as they relate to database development, support, and management.
Requirements
8+ years of experience across a wide range of database technologies (SQL Server, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.).
8 years’ experience in database management.
Must have proficiency in the following database disciplines: MS SQL, SQL Server, SQL Cluster Environments, Maria DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MS Access.
Must be proficient in creating and managing standalone SQL and Oracle databases.
Must be able to identify issues, perform server maintenance, install software patches, etc.
Must be able to work individually and as part of a team.
Must also be able to communicate with different levels of employees and management.
