Real Estate Firm is seeking a
Senior Property Accountant
to join their growing team!
Responsibilities: ??????? Oversee full-cycle accounting for multiple residential real estate properties, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP. Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, prepare and post journal entries and accruals, and support month-end and year-end close processes. Collaborate closely with asset management teams, auditors, and external clients to coordinate audits and deliver complete reporting packages. Create and maintain detailed work papers to substantiate account balances and support independent CPA reviews. Ensure 100% accuracy of financial records and meet all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deadlines. Contribute to property transitions, ensuring smooth onboarding of financial systems and data integration. Demonstrate proficiency with Yardi, P2P, ClickPay, and Microsoft Office Suite to manage property and accounting workflows. Apply strong understanding of both cash and accrual accounting methods to produce accurate and compliant reports.
Requirements:
5+ years in property accounting Bachelors or master's in Acc/Finance
Preferred Skills:
Public Accounting is a plus CPA a plus
Compensation:
$50/ Hour Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
