Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Worker, responsible for ensuring the efficient shipping and inventory management within a bustling warehouse environment. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Operate a sit-down hilo for loading and unloading purposes.

Maintain accurate inventory control and documentation.

Document and update shipping slips in the system.

Receive all incoming goods and ensure they are logged correctly.

Utilize computer systems to track inventory and ship parts to customers.

Support packing and boxing of parts to ensure product safety during transit.

Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly.

Demonstrate attention to detail in all tasks.

Essential Skills

Experience in using power tools and mechanical aptitude.

Minimum of 2 years of packing experience in a manufacturing setting.

Proficiency in operating a sit-down hilo.

Consistency in job tenure, with at least 1+ year at each previous position.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with hand tools, assembly, and general warehouse operations.

Work Environment

The warehouse environment is spacious and organized, divided into manufacturing, shipping/receiving, assembly, and testing areas for car washes. While not temperature controlled, the facility remains clean and well-maintained. Employees can expect to work in a casual dress code, with safety glasses and hearing protection provided. Steel-toed boots are required. The shift is from 7 AM to 3 PM with the possibility of 10-hour days and overtime on Saturdays. Lunch is 30 minutes unpaid, and there are two 10-minute paid breaks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
