Non-Benefited Position begins November 10, 2025 Daily work hours: TBD Salary
$16.81 per hour Essential Functions
Follow established school routines related to lunch, recess, and transitions. Monitor student behavior during meal service or recess blocks during lunch per school expectations. Communicate with students and school staff positively and professionally. Circulate throughout the cafeteria or in areas where meals are served and assist students as needed. Dismiss classes in an orderly manner at the scheduled time. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. Education / Training / Experience
Ability to read and write equivalent to a 10th grade educational level. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Knowledge and use of culturally responsive practices. Ability to maintain emotional control under stress. Physical Requirements
Ability to maintain emotional control under stress. Ability to spend long hours standing. Ability to reach with hands and arms. Sufficient manual dexterity to grasp, handle, manipulate, and/or feel objects. Sufficient mobility to move about the work area. Sufficient vision to read and comprehend printed materials, see distant objects with clarity, and identify and distinguish objects. Occasionally lift fifteen (15) pounds. Occasionally climb or balance. Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Sufficient hearing to hear and comprehend conversations in person and on the telephone, and distinguish sounds up to twenty (20) feet. Perform other duties assigned by the school principal. Work Environment
Moderate noise (e.g., office environment with computers, printers, and telephones; regular conversations within offices, cubicles, hallways, and conference rooms; meetings one-on-one, in small groups, and large settings). Equal Opportunity
