Job Description We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Performance Tapes facility.
Shift: 12-hour DuPont shift schedule, rotating between day (7 AM - 7 PM) and night (7 PM - 7 AM) shifts.
Hourly Rate: $21.77 - $40.56/hr, plus a $2/hr shift differential.
What You'll Do:
Perform Preventative and Predictive Maintenance: Execute planned maintenance schedules to prevent downtime, diagnose failures, and make repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment.
Troubleshoot and Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. This includes motors, conveyors, and production machinery.
Electrical Systems Expertise: Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, repair complex electrical equipment, and work from schematics to maintain and install electrical systems.
PLC Troubleshooting: Utilize PLC systems to diagnose faults on automated lines and determine corrective actions.
Facility Upkeep: Perform general maintenance tasks and ensure the facility and all equipment are in top working order.
Safety and Teamwork: Adhere strictly to all safety policies (including OSHA regulations), maintain a clean work environment, and collaborate effectively with production teams and engineers to improve processes.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications We're Looking For a Maintenance Technician With:
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing maintenance experience.
Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills with PLCs and other control systems.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to all regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Certifications or training in specialty areas (electrical, PLC) are highly preferred. An associate's degree in a manufacturing or electrical discipline is a plus.
Additional Information The base pay range for this position is $21.77 - $40.56 per hour.
