Travel Key Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect nursing care to laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients, as well as newborns, following established hospital protocols and standards of care. Monitor and assess patient condition, interpret fetal monitoring, and communicate changes effectively to the healthcare team. Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist physicians during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum procedures. Educate patients and families on all aspects of care, including labor progression, pain management options, newborn care, and post-discharge instructions. Document all patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely using the hospital's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Participate in interdisciplinary team collaboration to optimize patient outcomes. Requirements and Qualifications

Experience & Education Minimum of 2 years of recent job-related experience

in a Labor and Delivery setting or equivalent experience is

Required . Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Licensure & Certifications Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in the State of Rhode Island – Required. BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required. NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required. Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Certification – Preferred. Technical Skills EPIC EMR Experience – REQUIRED/MANDATORY. Assignment Details Shift:
