Floating:
Willingness to float to other Endeavor Health facilities (Glenbrook, Skokie, Highland Park, Evanston)
Patient Ratios:
1:4 (Days, Nights, Weekends)
Charting System:
Epic
Estimated Weekly Salary Range:
$1710-$1750
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
Active Illinois RN license (required for application)
Certifications: BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (all required)
Level 1 and Level 2 Trauma nursing experience (required)
Previous charge nurse experience (required)
Clinical skills: conscious sedation, IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management
Epic charting experience preferred
Must pass EKG test (first day, 84% or higher)
Ability to float between healthcare facilities as needed
ER Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality emergency care to neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Perform triage and trauma assessments in a fast-paced clinical setting
Administer and monitor procedural sedation
Start and maintain IVs; manage telemetry and ventilator patients
Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, social services)
Float to other units/facilities within Endeavor Health as required
Document patient care using Epic electronic medical records
